How do I send an email to Altis when I don’t know the reference number?

By sending an email to your Altis email address, your email will automatically appear* in your Altis Inbox.

Your Altis email address will follow this formula: username=example.co.uk@ep.altislegal.com. For example I log into Altis using the email address phoebe.bolton@espc.com, therefore my Altis email address would be phoebe.bolton=espc.com@ep.altislegal.com. The Inbox can be found in the main menu on the left hand side of the page. From here, the email can then be assigned to the relevant transaction by checking the box on the left hand side of the email, and then selecting a transaction to assign it to from the drop down menu on the left of the screen.

The email must be sent from a registered Altis email address such as the one used to login, in order to appear within the system. So for example, if the same email was sent from a colleague’s email address who does not have an Altis login, the email will not appear in the system.

*the system refreshes every 5 minutes, so it may take up to 5 minutes for the email to appear.
