How do I send an email on behalf of someone else?

When sending emails from within an Altis transaction you can send them on behalf of someone else.

Message recipients will see that the message has been sent on behalf of the other person. Any replies will be sent to the person whom the email was sent on behalf of.

If you are using an email template that contains signatures the email will be updated with the signature for the person you are sending on behalf of.

To send the email on behalf of someone else

  1. Create an email by clicking on the envelope icon at the top of the transaction
  2. Choose the person you wish to send on behalf of from the drop-down list in the From (Send on behalf of): field
  3. Complete the rest of the details and compose your email
  4. Click the send button to send the email
